Jean Paul Jacobs

I’m Jean Paul Jacobs, a Florida attorney and the founder of Shield Legal Group in Brickell. I work with two kinds of clients: business owners buying or selling a company, and families who want to protect what they’ve built.

On the business side, I handle acquisitions and sales of Florida businesses from the letter of intent through closing. That includes due diligence, asset and stock purchase agreements, seller financing, non-competes and franchise deals. I coordinate with your broker, lender and CPA so the deal keeps moving and nothing gets lost between the parties.

On the family side, I prepare wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney and lady bird deeds, and I guide families through probate. My goal is to keep your family out of court and make sure your home goes where you intend.

Flat fees. You know the cost before we start, with no surprise hourly bills.
Real estate in-house. I also own Shield Title & Escrow, an attorney-owned title agency. When a business sale, trust or estate involves property, the deed, title work and closing are handled under one roof.
