Diane L. Aburto, began her career in immigration law, when her uncle was deported back to Nicaragua, many years ago. She recalls wishing there was something she could have done, and swore to help other families through such difficult times. Diane was born in San Jose, California, and relocated to Miami, FL, at an early age. She attended Coral Reef Senior High, a magnet school, where she excelled in the Drama Department. Upon graduating, she attended the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, FL, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. Later, she attended Florida Coastal School of Law, in Jacksonville, FL, and earned her Juris Doctorate, as well as a certificate in International and Comparative Law. During her time in law school, Diane worked as a student representative, in the immigration clinic, helping indigent families in her community. It is there, that she began recognizing the tremendous impact she could have on these families. Diane is a proud member of the National Association of Professional Women, the American Immigration Lawyer's Association, and is licensed by the State of Florida. On her down time, she enjoys horseback riding, and traveling the world.
