Client Indicted in federal court in Tampa and charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine. Both co-defendants pleaded ... guilty and agreed to cooperate with the United States. Client maintained his innocence and proceeded to trial. Jury found the client not guilty of possession with the intent to distribute and a mistrial was declared on the remaining count. Prior to second trial, the United States Attorney agreed to dismiss the conspiracy charge in exchange for the client's plea to a misprision of a felony charge. Client was sentenced to credit for time served, immediately released from detention, and spent Thanksgiving with his family.
