Let me start off by saying that he does offer a free first time visit/consultation. But that's about it with the positives. Just that first time visit was enough to convince me that this gentleman is anything but professional. I wasted about an hour waiting for him to see me (this would have been acc...eptable if I had actually gotten anything positive out of our meeting), and after I was finally walked to his office I received what can only be described as the most condescending treatment I've ever experienced. He did not stand up to greet me, he did not close the door (as it should have been done, given that I did not wish to share my private matters with his whole office staff and clients waiting outside), and he started the conversation by asking me "so, why are you here?" (no good afternoons, or even a simple hello). Throughout the whole 10-20 min that I was there trying to explain to him the situation that had brought me there, I was being constantly interrupted by his assistants/paralegals; at no point he asked them to please wait outside until we were done, at no point he even apologized to me for the constant interruptions; like my time was obviously NOT valuable to him. Just that treatment alone would put him as the very last attorney I would consider hiring. He has this obnoxious attitude of "I'M doing YOU a favor". Overall, needless to say I would not recommend Avelino Gonzalez to anyone.
