I contacted Heidi's office for the purpose of getting Medicaid approval for my mother. I spoke with Heidi in length on the initial phone consultation, but did not personally meet her as everything was done online with the aid of her assistants. The overall process was complicated with strict appl...ication/criteria requirements from Medicaid with numerous documents requested and specific regimens to follow. No way could I have accomplished this without the assistance of an attorney. Shanta was my liaison to Heidi and Aimee and via email, promptly and considerately answered my seemingly endless questions. The time frame was lengthy; however, COVID was in full swing which had a direct impact. Everything was handled professionally, and they got the job done!

Ms. Friedman was recommended by a friend to take me through the Medicaid application process on behalf of my Mom who suffers from Alzheimer's. Ms. Friedman was incredibly knowledgeable, discussed our options in clear English and went through the entire financial planning process on behalf of my Mom.... Her support staff was extremely helpful as well. Although the prep process took longer than expected due to their detail oriented approach, my Mom got her Medicaid number within 40 days of submission. You certainly can't beat that.

In the past, like many people I suppose, I would only write a review when I felt a product or service was really bad. You wanted to warn others. In this case I’m writing a review because the service we received went way above what we had hoped for, or what we had ever expected! I found Heidi throu...gh an internet search. Sadly, my wife’s brother had passed away and his elderly wife was living alone in New York. At the time, she was in an assisted living facility and suffering from dementia. She had no children or family members nearby. We wanted to bring her down to Florida to live by us, but we were in desperate need of elder law advice and estate planning. Simply put, we needed help if we were ever going to accomplish this. We had an attorney in New York who was also licensed in Florida, but we wanted someone who was local and really knew the “ins and outs” of Florida elder law and estate planning. I spoke with 2 or 3 attorneys over the phone, but none of them impressed me. They might have been good attorneys, but they all seemed more concerned that I understood their fee structure as opposed answering any questions. Finding Heidi was a Godsend. Heidi promptly returned my call and spent more time with me then she probably should have. I knew I wanted to take advantage of the free consultation she offered, so my wife and I met with her. We were both impressed. We were impressed with her knowledge, that fact that she listened, she asked insightful questions, she understood what we were trying to accomplish and she offered us great advice. She was also very compassionate about our situation and it would soon become very obvious that she is someone that really cares about people. Without going into details, ours was an especially complicated and very unusual situation. With Heidi’s guidance, things could not have turned out any better. My sister-in-law is now down here living by us and things are basically on cruise control. Heidi definitely knows what she is doing.
