My experience with Amy has been nothing short of upsetting and disappointing. there are several times where I have wondered if she is alive because she blatantly ignores emails and texts for MONTHS. Throughout my surrogacy journey I did not hear from her for extensive periods of time, six months +. I... felt like I had no representation and no one to help me when issues arose that pertain to the contract. She had her payday and left me high and dry.

When we started our search for a surrogacy lawyer, Amy Eichman came highly recommended and we now know why. Not only is she an exceptional lawyer, she is a kind and caring person who went above and beyond to support us throughout our surrogacy journey. She worked well with our surrogate’s lawyer, n...egotiating and executing our contract quickly. She was highly responsive to our MANY questions and her skill and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. We had many ups and downs throughout our journey and she was such a huge support. I don’t know how we would have managed without her. At the time of delivery, we experienced some difficulties with the hospital acknowledging all of our parental rights. Our child was premature and we had been told that only I would receive a band, which meant that if our child went into the NICU, my husband would not be able to see her without me present. When we presented our executed birth order to the hospital, which stated that we were both to be banded, we were told that it was the most thorough and clear order the hospital staff had ever seen and consequently, the hospital’s legal team gave us an additional band. We were later told that this was the first time a third band had been issued. (Our surrogate received the other band, as this is the way the hospital tracks the baby.) Even after our daughter was born, Amy worked diligently to obtain her birth certificate. I can’t express how important it is to choose a lawyer who is not only knowledgeable, but is also responsive and compassionate. Amy Eichman is truly an amazing surrogacy lawyer and person.
