Biography
John was born and raised in the City of New York. His undergraduate studies were at Pace University. He received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1968.
He worked in the Corporate Insurance Department of Lever Brothers Company in Manhattan, until being appointed as an Assistant District Attorney for Queens County, where he prosecuted felony criminal cases for four years. This was followed by two years of private practice as Rogers & Marotta, P.A., with an office in Kew Gardens, Queens County, New York.
John was admitted to practice in Florida in 1976, relocating here in 1978, at which time he joined the Insurance Defense firm of Pomeroy & Betts, in Fort Lauderdale. He later became a partner in the law firm of McDonough, Beyer, Kaback, Phillips and Rogers, P.A., Coral Springs, Broward County, Florida. He has been engaged in the private practice of law in Coral Springs, for the past thirty plus years.
