Sharon Parris-Donaldson

Licensed attorney with 10+ years experience in healthcare law, with seven years serving as In-House Counsel for healthcare providers, including surgical centers, urgent care facilities, and for a privately held preferred provider organization (PPO) network which provides cost-containment services to insurance carriers and other payors of insurance claims. She has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting contracts, including drafting and revising contracts, client services agreements, network access agreements, and master service agreements. She also served as counsel to two affiliated data licensing companies under common ownership, creating data licensing and publishing agreements. Her responsibilites also included ensuring the network's compliance with federal laws such as HIPAA and HITECH as well as regulatory compliance by obtaining and maintaining local, state and federal licenses for medical and dental networks, and NCQA certification for physician credentialing.
