Tobi Beth Perl

Born in Cali, Colombia, Steinger, Iscoe & Greene attorney Tobi Perl has been a South Florida resident for most of her life. Shortly after graduating with honors from the University of South Florida, she attended law school at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. In 1997, Ms. Perl became a member of the Florida Bar Association and began practicing law both in personal injury and as a staff attorney in the Fourth District and Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Courts. The daughter of a family physician, Ms. Perl grew up in the medical profession going on rounds with her father. This exposure and familiarity with injuries resulting from accidents has afforded Ms. Perl unique and invaluable insight into the vital role that dedicated legal professionals play in the protection of injured victims’ rights and the coverage of ongoing care. Ms. Perl’s insight was further enriched by her eight years as a traffic court magistrate in Palm Beach County. Witnessing tens of thousands of traffic cases, she learned firsthand how traffic laws and people’s thoughts and feelings factor into the practice of personal injury law and traffic cases. Ms. Perl’s educational and professional paths into personal injury law were significantly influenced by the personal struggle of a family member who was misdiagnosed resulting in their long battle with cancer. Thankfully, her relative won the fight against cancer, and her passion for representing and fighting for the rights of injury victims increased and strengthened. Ms. Perl considers her legal work as an attorney, representing individuals and their families in difficult times, to be not only her calling but a rare privilege.
