"Awhile back, Ms. Occhiogrosso represented the lender on a foreclosure matter that I was covering for a colleague. The foreclosure auction was imminent, but the borrower was desperately trying to save the property and had a short sale deal in the works. The judge sent the borrower away when she tried by herself to get an extension, because she had an attorney of record. I was called in at the last second to try to help. Ms. Occhiogrosso had already left the courthouse that day, but I managed to track her down on her cell phone and she graciously agreed to come back to the courthouse and to contact the lender to see whether a deal could be made. The lender agreed to extend the sale, and the borrower was eventually (judge made it rough on her) able to get the Order granting the extension. This lawyer went Above and Beyond in the interests of fairness and justice. I can't give a lawyer any higher praise than that. She is a credit to our profession and I thank her sincerely."
