Michael Raymond Parisi

Before founding Parisi Family Law, P.A., Michael served as a Senior Attorney at Sidweber & Weintraub, P.A., for more than seven years. During his tenure, he litigated a wide range of family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, paternity and modification actions, domestic violence cases, emergency timesharing hearings, contempt proceedings, attorney’s fees disputes, and complex financial discovery.  Prior to that role, he served honorably as a Prosecutor for Florida’s Department of Children and Families in Miami-Dade County, where he successfully tried more than 20 cases on behalf of the State of Florida.

Michael is recognized as a leader in the South Florida family law community.  He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association, where he works closely with attorneys and judges to advance professionalism, improve practice standards, family case law updates, and provide quality continuing legal education.  Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for Miami-Dade's Family Law Inn of Courts.  He is also a published author, having contributed the Child Support chapter in the 15th and 16th editions of The Florida Bar’s Dissolution of Marriage. In addition, he is an active member of The Florida Bar Family Law Section, the Broward County Bar Association Family Law Section, and the First Family Law American Inns of Court in Miami-Dade.

Michael has been a featured presenter at CLE events, including programs for the Miami-Dade Inn of Courts on Combating Implicit Bias in Family Law and The Overlap of Family Law and Real Property Law. In 2025, he was recognized by the Inns of Court with an achievement award for exemplifying professionalism, performance, and collaboration.

Michael was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.  He graduated with honors from the University at Buffalo in 2011, earning a double major in Political Science and Sociology. He then relocated to Florida, where he obtained his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2014 and was promptly admitted to The Florida Bar that same year.

His reputation is built on over a decade of trust, results, and personalized service.  His professionalism, extensive courtroom experience, and up-to-date knowledge of Florida family law allow him to consistently deliver optimal results, no matter how complex the case.

Outside of the courtroom, Michael is committed to giving back to the community through pro bono family law services. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
