To those of you who find themselves injured or hurt on the job I want to say this. There are time when we are hurt on company time and tell ourselves oh! its not so bad , I can deal with it or the pain will go away. I want you to consider this. Do you have health insurance? and does that health insu...rance provide the optimum of coverage ? or more importantly how will your injury affect you in the future? will your company still be there? will the health insurance you have through your job spare no expense to put your injury right no matter the extent of the damage and pain you experience? That's a lot of questions and I doubt the average worker can answer them. on top of these questions are you afraid of losing your job if you complain or take time of to deal with it, and dread the loss of wages to see a doctor more than once or twice. So, To those of you reading this I say this, if you have been hurt of injured on the job it is always serious. Don't take it for granted. Robert Rivera took on my case which i believed was not a serious injury. I was wrong. Robert spoke for me to people who don't know me or care if i work or not or whether I suffer or not. I minimized my injury and Mr. Rivera demonstrated a care and concern that i would not expect from anyone except a close friend or loved one. He settled my case for more than I imagined it was worth and I have been around, I am not naive. He arranged an advance on my settlement which I desparetley needed and brought about a final resolution in just a few days perhaps a week and a half.
