Michelle Lisette Acebo

I am a graduate of St. Thomas Law School and have been practicing law since 1996. I received the highest scholastic honors in Law School in both Corporations and Ethics, known as the Book Award.  I've also served the legal community of Miami Lakes, Florida as a founding member and secretary of the Miami Lakes Bar Association.  I continue to support the Miami Lakes Bar Association by participating in local event and serving on a recent panel on the State of Immigration in 2018.

Since I opened my practice in Miami Lakes in 2001, I've dedicated myself to serving immigrants and injured workers.  In an effort to give back to the community, I volunteer with the Cuban American Bar Association and assist low income immigrants before the Immigration and Family courts in Miami-Dade and Broward County.  I have been an active member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association since 1999, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta.
