Jany Martinez-Ward is a Founding Partner at The Ward Law Group, PL, a Florida personal injury law firm representing victims of accidents. She focuses her practice on providing legal representation to Spanish-speaking clients that have been injured in accidents as a result of the negligence of others.
At The Ward Law Group, Jany leads the firm’s Pre-litigation Department, assisting clients with everything from gathering paperwork to legal advice regarding settlement of claims. She negotiates claims directly with insurance companies to ensure her client’s receive the just compensation they deserve.
She directly supervises fifteen employees and two managers to ensure quality service for her clients and is largely responsible for increasing the client base from just a few personal injury clients in 2013 to over a thousand active clients today.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Jany immigrated to the United States approximately twenty years ago, Jany has experienced many of the common challenges that immigrants face in this complex, and intimidating legal system. As a consequence of her early experiences, Jany chose to dedicate her life to helping her community with their legal needs. She has been recognized as a Top attorney in Florida and earned a “Top 40 Under 40” status from the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2018.
Jany attended Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and earned her undergraduate degree from University of Florida. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
