As a USC, separate I130 is required for mom and dad.

No. Always take original and translation when traveling.
Received my Greencard last month and just got notification that I-131 is denied. EAD is still pending.

With an LPR, EAD is irrelevant. Keep abroad travels under 6 months and you won't need I131.
