Jonathan L Fitzgerald

Jonathan L. Fitzgerald was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, and joined the firm in 2011 as a member of the Estate Planning and Tax Group. Mr. Fitzgerald’s practice is focused on assisting individuals and families in the areas of sophisticated estate and tax planning. In addition, Mr. Fitzgerald's areas of concentration include complex estate planning and probate administration, individual income taxation, corporate and partnership taxation, business formation, business acquisition and sale, and charitable planning.

Mr. Fitzgerald graduated from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business with a double major in accounting and political science. After graduation from Notre Dame, Mr. Fitzgerald worked for four years at the international public accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the firm’s New York City office. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Fitzgerald consistently received the highest performance rating offered by the firm. He left the firm to attend the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.

In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Fitzgerald is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the State of Florida. Mr. Fitzgerald is a member of the Tax Section and Real Property and Probate section of the Florida Bar, the Indian River County Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.
