Biography
Attorney Easton has been protecting the rights of individuals accused of crimes since 2004. Early on he learned that without proper representation, the far reach of the Government either through law enforcement or prosecuting agencies can decimate the life of an accused.
Attorney Easton has represented individuals at all stages of the criminal process including: staving off criminal charges before they are filed; at trial; and successful representation on appeal or post-conviction motions. He has battled everything from a traffic ticket to a homicide including becoming well known for challenging drunk driving charges. He achieved success at every stage including obtaining full acquittals at trial and getting courts to grant his clients new trials on appeal.
Attorney Easton’s successful defense of his clients has earned him the respect of other practitioners, prosecutors, and Judges and he was named a “Rising Star” by the prestigious “SuperLawyers” rating service for lawyers who have attained outstanding peer recognition and professional achievement. He has also published a law review article at Northwestern University that persuaded his colleagues to reform the Government’s use of unreliable eyewitness identification at trial. His law review article has been cited as persuasive authority in appellate briefs and criminal law treatises.
Attorney Easton’s practice has expanded and he is now admitted in Florida, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. He joined Leppard Law in 2017 and became the Drunk Driving Division Chief. Leppard law represents individuals accused of drunk driving in Florida.

Joe did a great job representing me
