Eric William Woodward

Eric was a real pleasure to work with. He was professional, understanding of my situation, and serious about my case. He kept me thoroughly informed, was easy to contact for questions, and to return phone calls promptly. Eric is very knowledgeable about State laws and statues and kept me inform...ed about how potential new laws could affect the outcome of my case. This is an attorney that, in my experience, working with him, does NOT play dirty in court. He does not get argumentative or aggressive but he is very assertive, aand does everything possible to do the right thing for his client, and he will fight for his client, but he goes about it ethically. He kept his objections valid and to a minimum. The biggest thing i have noticed about Eric is that his office is clean and simple, in the sense of not cluttered with case files, or tons of law books. He respects his client's privacy and discloses nothing about his other cases. He is trustworthy, honest, and has high ethics and morals.The next time I need an attorney, Eric Woodward will be the first one I call.

Attorney Woodward is an excellent professional - competent, knowledgeable and personable, with an amazing grasp of the law. During our initial consultation, he truly listened to our situation and gave his recommendations after fully understanding our circumstances. He is not overbearing or full of ...himself, but rather is extremely competent and understated. His billing practices are above reproach with his rates being reasonable, billing statements fully documented and work specifically described. Most of our communication took place through email and his responses were prompt and succinct. Mr. Woodward was very honest and upfront in his assessment of our case and did all that he could do to settle our issue without going to court. But in the end and despite his best efforts, that's where it ended up for several days. He did an amazing job letting us know what to expect and how to prepare for Court. He was extremely focused in the court room and didn't miss anything that went on while he was in there. After each session in Court, he took the time to explain what had happened, what to expect next and his overall feelings on the proceedings, being sure that we understood it all. Thanks to Mr. Woodward's efforts in the courtroom, the outcome of our case was better than we had expected. We are very thankful that we found an ethical and trustworthy attorney and would absolutely recommended Attorney Woodward to anyone who finds themselves in need of counsel.

We hired Ric after consulting with multiple attorneys in Brevard. He was kind in the initial consultation & seemed like he knew what he was doing. As far as filing certain paperwork he was good & fast. When it came to his actual representation in front of a judge, we were very disappointed. Like one ...of the other reviews stated, we provided him with an extensive amount of evidence against the opposing party & he failed to submit it or use it in a temporary hearing. For someone to literally your life with your child in their hands till said child is 18, Ric is careless and lackadaisical. When this was brought to his attention he replied with an invoice & completely ignored our concerns. He then recused himself from the case due to “irreconcilable differences”. We were already looking for new representation so he did us a favor. Can’t imagine how he would represent someone in the final trial. Waste of money. We have since hired another attorney. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.
