Eric was a real pleasure to work with. He was professional, understanding of my situation, and serious about my case. He kept me thoroughly informed, was easy to contact for questions, and to return phone calls promptly. Eric is very knowledgeable about State laws and statues and kept me inform...ed about how potential new laws could affect the outcome of my case. This is an attorney that, in my experience, working with him, does NOT play dirty in court. He does not get argumentative or aggressive but he is very assertive, aand does everything possible to do the right thing for his client, and he will fight for his client, but he goes about it ethically. Attorney Woodward is an excellent professional - competent, knowledgeable and personable, with an amazing grasp of the law. During our initial consultation, he truly listened to our situation and gave his recommendations after fully understanding our circumstances. He is not overbearing or full of ...himself, but rather is extremely competent and understated. His billing practices are above reproach with his rates being reasonable, billing statements fully documented and work specifically described. Most of our communication took place through email and his responses were prompt and succinct. Mr. Woodward was very honest and upfront in his assessment of our case and did all that he could do to settle our issue without going to court. But in the end and despite his best efforts, that's where it ended up for several days. He did an amazing job letting us know what to expect and how to prepare for Court. He was extremely focused in the court room and didn't miss anything that went on while he was in there. After each session in Court, he took the time to explain what had happened, what to expect next and his overall feelings on the proceedings, being sure that we understood it all. Thanks to Mr. Woodward's efforts in the courtroom, the outcome of our case was better than we had expected. Attorney Ric, is a respectable and knowledgeable person in the case that he is working on. I never met him personally until the day of mediation. We had a conversation over the phone and emails constantly and he will respond to any questions you have in less than an hour if he is not in court.
