Biography
Anita Staver is not in private practice and does not accept direct requests for legal representation. She serves as President of the international nonprofit organization, Liberty Counsel (), and also as a director of Liberty Counsel Action ().
Anita is a member of the bars of Florida and the District of Columbia. Her legal practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal courts has resulted in more than 40 published opinions. She is admitted to practice before 12 federal courts of appeals.
Anita has been a guest on a variety of shows, including Hardball with Chris Matthews, and has been interviewed by other media, including Newsweek. Her articles have been published in many sources, including WorldNetDaily, Catholic Lane, American Daily Herald, and the Florida Baptist Witness. She has co-authored two scholarly law review articles, (published here ) and wrote for The Popular Encyclopedia of Christian Counseling.
Anita was valedictorian of her class, graduating summa cum laude from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. She also studied at the International Institute of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. After graduating with distinction from the University of Kentucky, she received a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
