About Kristopher
Biography
Kristopher is an Orlando native and fifth generation Floridian. He went to college in New Orleans and was a patrol officer in the Atlanta-area before attending law school at Florida State University. Kristopher began his legal career in 2005 with the law firm of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. After almost 10 years with the Lowndes firm, Kristopher opened Kest Family Law, P.A., and now focuses his practice solely on family law.
Kristopher has always included pro bono work through the Legal Aid Society as part of his practice, advocating as a guardian ad litem for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the state’s dependency system. He is now on the Board for the Legal Aid Society and will serve as its president for the 2020-2021 year. Wanting to give back to the legal profession, Kristopher is a member of the Executive Council of the Orange County Bar Association, and has founded two mentoring programs through the OCBA.
Also active in the community at large, Kristopher has served on the Community Advisory Board for WMFE 90.7 FM, on the board for the Winter Park Public Library, and on the Orlando Health Foundation’s “One Night” committee raising funds and awareness for the Level One Trauma Center.
Kristopher is married with two daughters. He enjoys inshore fishing, paddle boarding, boating, camping, snowboarding, and reading non-fiction.
