Trevor Frederick Ward

As an Associate Attorney, Trevor F. Ward assists in various patent and trademark disputes, business disputes, and related litigation matters. Additionally, he helps businesses and individuals obtain trademark registrations.

Trevor earned his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, FL, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with the 2nd highest GPA. During law school, he received a total of 9 Book Awards (a designation given to the student with the top grade in a class), was the Note/Comment Editor for The Barry Law Review, and the Vice President of the Federal Bar Association student chapter. During law school, he interned with the USPTO one summer, served as a law clerk for the Honorable Tom Young of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, and clerked for ADDG for six months.

Trevor is ideally suited to help inventors, artists, and businesspeople protect their intellectual property. Prior to law school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. Afterward, he was a product development engineer at Mattel Toys where he authored his first patent. Following Mattel, he was a consultant for PTC Corp., helping over 50 design/engineering companies, large and small, improve their engineering and design processes. He left the corporate world and became an award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer while traveling to places like England, India, and Mexico. In between all that, Trevor started a couple of different companies. For over 20 years, Trevor was a creator and an entrepreneur, so he understands their unique legal needs. His legal practice is dedicated to helping inventors, creators, and businesses protect their rights and pursue their dreams.
