Best Divorce Lawyer in Town

Rebecca and her team did a great job. I'm very happy with the outcome, so is my ex. They worked very efficiently, effectively and produced all documents in high quality, implemented changes quickly. It's worth to have good documents. They were available even on the week-ends. Responded to my e-mails ...fast but thoughtfully. In sum, they are not cheap, but worth every penny.

Rock Star Attorney and Firm

Rebecca was referred to me almost 2 years ago by BDO Sideman. While on Active Duty, my wife filed for divorce after 29 years of marriage. As you can imagine, I was devastated. After speaking with Rebecca, she explained her years of experience and unique approach to representing her clients. I was ...convinced that her firm was the right one to represent me through an almost 2 year long divorce. Along the way, she helped me to understand the Serviceman’s Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and the Federal laws that we could apply throughout this process. Her team approach to representing me is truly innovative allowing me to take advantage of resources in her organization without having to pay higher rates when not needed. A huge Bravo Zulu to Rebecca and her team of outstanding people. Thank you Rebecca!

The Absolute Best!

Rebecca is truly the best! She provided me with all the options and information I needed during each step of my dissolution case. Rebecca took the time and energy needed to make sure I received the best possible resolution. She always exhibited the highest level of professionalism, knowledge and s...trength in her presence while representing me. I’m unbelievably grateful.

I don't recommend Rebecca.

I retained Rebecca as my attorney for over a year in order to help seek additional time with my child during her school breaks. I was seeking a 50/50 split of her school vacation times or something close to it, which is standard in Florida. I consider myself to be a model father with no strikes aga...inst me so in theory it should be an easy thing to get. During the year or so that I retained her, Rebecca billed me over $40k for her services. We went before the judge several times on small matters and I would rate her preparedness before the court to be poor. I thought about getting a different attorney but I was heavily invested in Rebecca and decided to stick it out, since in theory it was an easy thing get. To make a long story short, after 9 months or so we finally got a trial date. Several months leading up to the trial she billed me significantly for “trial preparation”. Before the trial date, opposing sent a settlement offer. I felt it was a terrible offer and rejected it, letting Rebecca know I would prefer to go to trial. Rebecca insisted that I accept their offer. She wrote me a letter stating she would be forced to withdraw as counsel if I wanted to proceed to trial (even though she billed me heavily for several months for trial preparation). After she wrote the withdraw letter, I never saw Rebecca again, she was always too busy and only her assistant was available for me from then on. I called her office several times but I could only speak with her assistant, Jenny. Jenny informed me that the retainer contract I originally signed had a clause in it that allowed Rebecca to withdraw at any time for any reason. I was distraught and the thought of hiring another attorney and possibly missing another summer with my child was too much so I reluctantly agreed to opposings terrible offer. Jenny and I spent a week or so processing the final paperwork without Rebecca being present as she was too busy with other matters to see or talk with me. No, I wouldn’t recommend Rebecca as an attorney based off my experience.

Avoid like the plague

I hired Rebecca for my divorce, and in return I received outrageous bills, was passed off to other attorneys, pressured to mediate even when we had no information or financials and an anxiety level that went thru the roof. Once we got close to our trial date I was asked to provide this firm with an e...normous amount of money, and if I didn't pay it I would have to find another lawyer and basically start over. They charged me more in 6 months then my other two lawyers charged me in 2 1/2 years of legal work. Also if you complain about the billing or their representation Rebecca will stop talking to you all together. It was very clear that billing and money was their number one objective and actually helping their clients get divorced and advocating for them came a far second. It was a nightmare experience during an already stressful time.
