I hired Bonilla for a divorce she told me to give her 2k and that will handle my filing and get me to my first court date all she did was file the petition I filled out, she never sent any bills the case was never served and nothing no court or filings I reconciled and asked her to dismiss the case ...after months of calls emails and text, I was at loss what to do and filed my own motion to dismiss the judge then contacted me and said Bonilla needed to withdraw from the case so she can sign off on my motion and dismiss the case I explained how Bonilla ghosted me and was told to dismiss the case months prior the judge assistant then had to contact Bonilla and then Bonilla dismissed the case and months later send a bill for the first time claiming I owed her another 2800 for a total of more then 5k for only filing the petition I filled out via the courts file system this attorney took advantage of a single mother of 3 kids at the time she charged me $27 for someone at her office calling my phone after being fired and left a voicemail to call her hidden 18% interest charges and a $2500 missing retainer funds not applied to a excessive bill she took 8 months to file my divorce will be posting a update of how the Florida bar investigation goes
