I have fought a custody case since 2019 against a very vindictive ex who attempted in every way possible to get 50/50 with our child. Throughout this process, my ex filed boggus motions for contempt, failed to provide any child support, violated temporary timesharing orders, lied on his financial aff...idavits, did not comply with request to produce and the like....and overall made the entire proceedings very stressful and dragged out. Eric was always present to reassure me or advise me on what to do and not do...and this really paid off in the end. We obtained whatever we requested from the Court at trial and my ex was denied every single motion he filed, request for attorney fees and so on. Mr. Bensen was always prepared for every hearing we had and knew the case in and out. He charges reasonably and does not count his time. I strongly recommend him for any family case you may have!

You should definitely hire this man to handle any and all of your family legal problems, especially when litigating against an ex-spouse. This man will ask all the important questions, sometimes two or three times, in front of opposing counsel or even a judge. His knowledge of legal jurisprudence w...ill shock even the longest standing judges. He will ensure your opposition spends a ton on legal fees by dragging motions out for as long as possible, and will have his assistants stumbling over themselves to apologize for believing your dispute could be settled quickly, inexpensively and with a minimum of underhanded tactics.

I started this case in 2017 and it is now almost 2020. I feel as though I have one of the longest running modification cases in the history of Orlando because of Cynthia Winter and Eric Bensen. Even the DOR said they have never seen a modification dragged out for this long. They are very professi...onal but did not make my case a priority and I did not feel as though they were interested in representing me. It would take weeks to hear back from my legal representation.

Eric Besen has showed up to court with more questions about my case then answers for my concerns. This was very disconcerting when I have no clue what to expect which is why I hired an attorney, who was originally Ms. Cynthia, in the first place. Eric is an aggressive attorney but lacks empathy for... his client's situations and fails at understanding that his cases and actions for his clients effect their lives.
