Emma Boggs

Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, I am a criminal defense attorney with a nontraditional path to the practice of law, shaped by ten years of active-duty service in the United States Marine Corps. During my military career, I served as a UH-1N Huey helicopter hydraulics mechanic in a Search and Rescue unit and later as an intelligence specialist, deploying to Asia and Africa while earning a bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University. After relocating to Orlando in 2020, I earned my Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law in 2023 and was awarded the Sister Linda Bevilacqua Award for service to the community. I began my legal career at the Public Defender’s Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, where I handled hundreds of felony, misdemeanor, and traffic cases in Orange and Osceola Counties before transitioning into private practice. I focus on criminal defense and am known for helping clients stay calm, understand complex legal issues, and navigate the criminal justice system with clarity and confidence, always approaching each case with the belief that every client is more than their charges and deserves dedicated, zealous advocacy.
