I am the founder and managing attorney of Bear Legal Solutions. I left a 500+ attorney firm in order to create this law firm which provides elite and personalized legal services to each client and every case. Far too often, whether in defense or plaintiff’s firms, clients and cases become little more than numbers within a law firm. This is the result of an organizational structure which mandates large caseloads and unmanageable billable requirements. Whether you’re a corporation being defended by a huge firm with hundreds of attorneys, or an individual who called the 800 number on the billboard, it's almost certain that the attorney handling the majority of your legal work doesn’t have the time or energy to give your legal needs the attention that they deserve. More troubling, oftentimes these firms have incentives which are not aligned with your interests.

Bear Legal Solutions was designed to break away from that structure. The organization is committed to providing each and every client and each and every case the attention and personalized strategy that they deserve. Central to that mission is a commitment to maintaining a caseload that allows its legal professionals the ability to do their job properly. The goal of Bear Legal Solutions is to provide our clients the highest quality legal representation, not to accept as many cases and grow as large as possible.

I focus my practice primarily on matters involving insurance coverage, property insurance claims, medical malpractice, personal injury, medical liens, employment practices, and contract disputes. My practice for property insurance claims includes claims for windstorm, fire, mold, water loss, sinkhole and theft.

Prior to starting Bear Legal Solutions, I worked at a 500+ attorney firm and before that a state-wide firm where I defended hospitals, medical providers, pharmacists, and attorneys against malpractice claims. I also represented insurance companies in every type of property damage claim imaginable as well as businesses in premises liability and employment discrimination matters. I also have experience in commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. Before transitioning into the private sector, I spent three years as a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney in Orange and Osceola Counties. During this time, I conducted dozens of trials ranging from DUI to RICO and violent crimes.

I received my juris doctor from Florida State University. During law school, I worked for Governor Jeb Bush and now Senior Judge Anne C. Conway of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. I was also a member of the Law Review. Prior to law school, I obtained a bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Bates College.

In 2017 I was appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) for the 18th Circuit of Florida. The JNC panel is responsible for investigating, interviewing and evaluating applicants for open circuit and county court judge seats. After our investigation, the panel recommends three to six applicants to the governor from which he makes a judicial appointment.

I am a member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, George C. Young Central Florida American Inns of Court, and the Windstorm Insurance Network. I am also active in the community, including serving as an instructor for the baptism program at St. Stephen's Catholic Church and having previously served as an instructor in The Church's teen confirmation program. I am also committed to a number of environmental defense causes and serve on the board of directors for the non-profit Save Rural Seminole.
