Passionate, Fierce and knowledgeable Lawyer

Cynthia guided me through my legal process and taught us the advantages of utilizing her Private Investigators. We ended up settling without having to file suit because she was HONEST and knowledgable enough to utilize the evidence! AMAZING ATTORNEY

THE BEST!!!

I hired Cynthia in December 2019 to represent me in a divorce that I did not want, but knew was inevitable. I had been a stay-at-home mom for 16 years and my husband of 19 years now wanted a divorce. I was lost, depressed, scared, traumatised, and felt the lowest I had ever felt: unloved, old, witho...ut a job or prospects, rejected, and alone. I was very distraught but I also wanted to make sure I wasn't taken advantage of in my divorce. I asked my friends for recommendations and one of them passed along a strong recommendation for this firm. I made an appointment and had a preliminary consultation with Cynthia. From the very beginning, Cynthia and I *clicked* despite my being considerably older than her. She is very nice and caring. Don't let her youthful appearance mislead you: she is VERY experienced and knowledgeable, and she will absolutely do right by you. She is very concerned that you get what you want (but will be honest in setting your expectations) and also about making sure that your costs remain as reasonable as possible. She never promised something that wasn't going to happen. She is VERY honest. And that's important in a lawyer! She made sure that she understood everything that was going on, asked all kinds of questions, and had answers for everything that I was asking. She was very reassuring, while making sure that she wasn't promising something that she couldn't deliver. She was poised and confident. I decided to hire her. The whole team who helped me was wonderful (Misty, Kaley, mostly). I will say that I was frustrated, a lot of times, by the slowness of the process and by not getting answers promptly, but I guess that's the nature of legal work and also I'm very impatient by nature. It's important that you educate yourself about the whole process independently, this way you can ask specific questions. Your lawyer will not be the driver of this. YOU are the driver of this. The lawyer will advise you but ultimately do what YOU ask them to do. They will not do something without your prior approval. A lot of times you're waiting to hear from the other person or their lawyer, or your own attorney might be dealing with other clients and not able to get back to you. From a client's perspective, it's irritating because you need answers NOW and you're already dealing with a lot of emotions and uncertainties so everything gets amplified. But, I will have to say that despite the feeling that everything was agonizingly slow and despite a global pandemic, my divorce was resolved in 6 months. We went to mediation with the understanding that if I didn't get what I wanted in mediation, I was fully ready to go to court. We did the mediation via Zoom, which worked out great. Cynthia was AMAZING. She made sure to have all the documents she needed in advance and knew my case in and out. I felt like I had a true partner and someone who was going to bat for me. We were a team and it worked out wonderfully. She multitasked during the mediation by always running the totals of the negotiated amounts to make sure that I was getting what I was truly entitled to, and was able to make suggestions to help move things along (but in my favor) when it looked like my ex-husband might not agree to something that I had requested. She prepped my Quit Claim Deed paperwork as we were waiting for the mediator to present something to him, so I wouldn't have to get charged for it by doing it later on (and so I wouldn't have to try to do it on my own!). She insisted on certain terms and language that benefited me and made sure that I felt comfortable with everything that was happening. I can't say enough good things about her. If you're on the fence... hire her, already! You won't regret it. I sure don't and all my friends envy me because they went with lesser lawyers and got what they paid for. And by the way? I'm no longer depressed. I have a great new life, thanks in great part to my wonderful lawyer.

Brilliance, Grit & Compassion

Cynthia Winter represented me with the highest level of skill, concern, compassion and attention to detail. She not only cared about my case, she cared about my children and me. When I was out of town, facing a crisis, Cynthia responded after hours, stayed available throughout the night, gave me soli...d, invaluable legal advice....but she provided me so much more. Cynthia cared about my children and the emotional side of the problem. When the case took a left hand turn & we were able to effect a settlement, Cynthia was available at all hours, with an immediate, clear response. She was smart, tough, sensible and brought the case to a successful close. I recommend her highly - I hope I never need the services of an attorney again - but if I did, I would call Cynthia Winter without a moment's hesitation.

Cynthia did an outstanding job on my divorce case

If I could describe Cynthia in three words, it would be personable, attentive, and professional. She always addressed any questions or concerns I had quickly and knowledgeably. In the hearing, she was very well prepared for the case and always looked out for my best interests. She knew exactly how to... handle each situation that came up, and I could not have asked for a better outcome in my divorce case. She is a truly remarkable lawyer, and I would hire her again.

An Attorney Who Will Go to Bat For You & Your Family

Attorney Winters handled my case with great care and efficiency (which helped with costs). Her knowledge was clearly reflected in her ability to anticipate any potential unwanted outcomes. In the courtroom she presented herself respectfully and humble before the judge/magistrate, but when necessary... asserted the argument articulately and with a strong legal basis. No doubt I recommend her and should I need representation again I will hire her again.
