Hello, my name is Brent Riggle, and I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce myself and explain why, as a former state prosecutor and today an experienced injury and accident attorney, I stand ready to to put all my years of litigation experience to work for you! Growing up in Toledo, Ohio, at an early age, I developed a passion for hard work, competition, justice, and relentlessly fighting for the underdog to win, in the classroom, on the basketball court, and on the soccer field.
Ultimately, this passion and commitment to excellence led me to Emory University where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology, and sharpened my skills at one of the finest research institutions in the world. After a successful business career in healthcare and economic research, I was proud to earn my Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where I received the Steven M. Goldstein scholarship, and was a member of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy, Phi Delta Phi, and the Health Law Society, as a co-founder. During this time, I also gained significant experience as a law clerk at a leading plaintiff’s medical malpractice and personal injury firm in Tallahassee.
Thereafter, I was privileged to begin my legal career as a dedicated public servant, where I distinguished myself as a champion for victims, stronger communities, and justice. As an Assistant Statewide Prosecutor with the Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution, Legal Advisor with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, and Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth, Fourth, and Twelfth Judicial Circuits, I was routinely entrusted with some of the most complex and difficult cases. Because of my proven work ethic and relentless pursuit of justice, I was called upon to help lead a statewide legal task force comprised of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Following my extensive and successful career in public service, I was honored to enter private practice and put my passion, knowledge and experience to work for you. Whatever your current legal needs or demands are, I proudly stand ready to aggressively protect and represent your interests from beginning to end, with timely and effective communication every step of the way. I will always fight to obtain the most favorable results that are possible, and will not rest until justice is served. I look forward to being your advocate!
