Avita Mosai Samaroo

Attorney Avita M. Samaroo is the founding partner of Samaroo Law where she practices personal injury law. Mrs. Samaroo helps her clients through difficult periods in their lives with compassionate yet assertive advocacy. She utilizes her diverse experience, analytical know-how and creativity to unwind complex personal injury cases which ultimately allows her clients to receive the true value for their injuries.  Specifically, most of her practice focuses on personal injuries sustained as a result of motor vehicle accidents. Mrs. Samaroo has settled motor vehicle accident claims for as high as four and a half million dollars ($4.5 million).

Mrs. Samaroo was raised in Southwest Orlando where she currently lives with her husband and two children. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida and a Masters in Business Administration in Marketing Management from the University of Tampa. Mrs. Samaroo worked for the Chicago based company, American-Invsco, for several years, fine tuning her business and marketing skills, before pursuing her passion for the law.

Mrs. Samaroo graduated from Barry University School of Law with distinction. She earned the highest grade honors in Evidence, Property II, and Environmental Law, Jurisprudence, and Justice. She was also an active member of Barry’s prestigious Moot Court Honors Board where she had the distinct privilege of arguing before the Honorable Justices and Judges. Mrs. Samaroo was selected by her law school to be their Orange County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s liaison and was chosen for a coveted student seat at the George C. Young Inn of Court.

Mrs. Samaroo interned with the Office of the Federal Defender’s in the Middle District of Florida, where she gained invaluable federal experience. She also served as Legal Intern to the Honorable Patricia Doherty of the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. This experience provided Mrs. Samaroo with a unique view from behind the bench providing insight on how cases are properly presented to the Court and what Judges expect from attorneys practicing in their courtroom. Immediately after taking the Bar Exam, Mrs. Samaroo accepted a position with a Longwood Civil Litigation firm, where she developed a passion for personal injury work.  She went on to accept a position at NeJame Law where she handled a wide variety of cases including those involving catastrophic injuries. 

Community, Charity, Volunteering:  Mrs. Samaroo core beliefs is giving back to her community, donating, and volunteering her time to non-profits, speaking engagements and local events.  "Growing up as child my parents would feed the homeless in downtown Orlando and I wanted to continue this with my family."  Avita.   Throughout child, teen, and adulthood Avita has particpated in many local and national oganizations like; United Against Poverty, Hope and Health, Runway to Hope, Make-A-Wish Foundation, local school drives, to name a few.  In 2018, Samaroo Law organized their first series of community events directly benefiting the local communities of Orlando, Kissimmee, and Ocala.   These events helped families in the time need during times when it matters most.  Over the years the Samaroo Law Team has given away thousands of backpacks and water bottles for back to school, Turkeys for thanksgiving, and toys to kids from their very own Santa.  "The most amazing part is all the hugs I recieve from the people whose lives we touch."
