Stacey L. Schwartz

Stacey Schwartz Perez is a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney dedicated to helping individuals and families make thoughtful decisions about the future. She focuses her practice on estate planning, elder law, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship, special needs planning, and long-term care planning.

Stacey advises clients at all stages of life. She works with young adults preparing their first estate plans, parents seeking to protect their children, and retirees planning for incapacity, care needs, and the transfer of wealth. She also guides families through the probate and trust administration process after the loss of a loved one. In each matter, Stacey strives to provide clear, practical, and personalized guidance that reflects each client’s goals, family dynamics, values, and circumstances.

Stacey views estate planning as an ongoing relationship rather than a one-time event. As families grow, assets change, health needs develop, and laws evolve, she helps clients revisit and update their plans so they continue to meet their needs. She is committed to building lasting relationships with clients and serving as a trusted advisor through life’s important transitions.

Before joining RumbergerKirk, Stacey practiced for nearly eight years at a well-known elder law firm serving Winter Park and the greater Central Florida community. There, she gained significant experience counseling individuals and families on estate planning, elder law, probate, trust administration, guardianship, and long-term care planning, while also working closely with professional advisors throughout the region.

Stacey earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.

Active in the Central Florida legal community, Stacey regularly presents seminars on topics including elder law, estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship, and long-term care planning. She is a member of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Orange County Bar Association, and The Florida Bar’s Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections.
