Lindsay C. T. Holt was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but has spent the majority of her life in Florida. After graduating from Leesburg High School, Lindsay attended Florida State University where she earned her A.A. degree before transferring to Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. From Flagler, Ms. Holt earned degrees in Political Science and Psychology. Lindsay attended law school at Stetson University College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2007. While at Stetson, Lindsay was the recipient of the Victor O. Wehle award for her trial advocacy skills.
Lindsay most enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh Holt, and their daughter, Ella. Ms. Holt is also an active member in the community. She currently sits on the executive committee (Past President) of the Lake-Sumter State College Foundation board and serves on the board of directors of the Community Foundation of South Lake County. Lindsay served on the executive committee of the Lake County Bar Association for five years and previously chaired the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee for the Fifth Judicial Circuit. In 2017 and 2018, Lindsay was honored to be selected as a circuit court judge nominee by the Governor’s Judicial Nominating Committee. Ms. Holt’s law practice is focused on litigation. She is admitted to practice in all state courts throughout the State of Florida. Lindsay is also admitted and has experience in handling litigation in the Federal District Courts, where she has handled matters in various federal courts in the State of Florida and in Atlanta, Georgia.
