Mr. Cauthen has represented me for many years in both corporate matters as well as personal matters. He is very prompt, professional, and knowledgeable with the law. I've recommended dozens of my personal clients who have used Mr. Cauthen for many different things and I will continue to refer him... and use him for my legal matters.

hired on family law case. spent more than $7,000 and that was before ever going to court! I had to change lawyers before going to court proceedings. Was less-than truthful in order to obtain my retainer, and then changed his story 6 months in to it. Did not do as I asked, and was outright rude toward... the end. Wish I had asked around before hiring him. It is a shame that he graduated from FSU, and still has not ethics.

David Cauthen staff miswrote my QDRO (401K) Settlement, it was suppose to be 50% (acquired during the marriage) and I was only award 18%. With no response to communication for over 18 months. QDRO communicated the direction to correct the error, again no response. It was sent to judge for signature w...ithout my signature. My divorce took over 3.5 years as we split acreage I needed to get access (easement) to the parcel I was keeping, today I am land locked with no access. I have a small herd of Black Angus Cows which need to be feed and attended to. I've lost my 1st calf (in 13 years), and the cows busted a water pipe on the barn and now I have paid over 500 in electric bills. And most likely my well is shot. I took a boat across lake to access the property. I have documentation that I came with all the money (from real estate) to purchase and develop land. This attorney got me no financial support (I was injured during marriage). David Cauthen is nothing but a quick settlement lawyer. He does not work for his clients needs. He also was my SSDI Attorney, and Lost that case too! Do not use this attorney if you want to win!

I use the word attorney loosely, do not use this man. He represented me in a case and made mistakes, not one but mistakes after mistakes. He was litigating a case for me for a year, collecting $15,000 and the case is no farther one year later from when he started. His office does not return emails an...d phone calls besides over billing and double billing.

Mr. Cauthen and his staff always exemplified professionalism and were very receptive to my needs. During my case progression, had it not been for Mr. Cauthen's staff and his abilities as an attorney I would definitely have had to pay a much higher bill than expected. Also, had it not been for them, ...I do not feel that my case would have been won - in which it was. I do - and always will recommend Mr. David Cauthen to future clients and I am very thankful that he served as my attorney and represented me very well.
