My boyfriend hired this attorney for his criminal case and the lawyer was also you know paid a decent amount like right up front to handle his case but I want to explain that this lawyer right here really is one of the worst lawyers I probably seen in a long time I have to say you'd probably be bette...r off with a public defender then with this lawyer or actually this lawyer should be just a regular public defender he is scared to speak up for his client when it comes to talking to the judge or anything when the judge had made a comment to him about his client you know degrading him saying that oh you know you've done everything you can the lawyer literally just let it go and basically let her degrade his client and did not fight for him whatsoever in regards to anything, like did not know case laws did not know how to step up for his client and say all the things that you know a lawyer should know to fight and and stand up for him he basically told his client oh I guess just you know sign with whatever they give you and and you'll be okay, because he was talking to his lawyer and didnt agree to a 2-year sentence Within 2 minutes the judge vindictively gave him 20 years over nothing and then now he had to start a appeal and so far after 2 years in county we won the appeal everything good but he had a misdemeanor case that was suppose to be dismissed. But no the lawyer kept continue it yet we filed a motion to dismiss. But does not communicate with his client at all, won't answer his calls, won't meet with him. We found out the lawyer will not represent him for resentencing, no explaining at all, and we only found out cause the front desk chick Kayla told us. So because it assigned to him the court won't asign him a public defender. So he just left him with no lawyer to be there. He won't answer our calls, he won't meet with his client. They ignore all his emails and letters he sends them. This law firm does not care about there client. Even just a few moments ago we called and was told a lie about the front desk lady Kayla was in a meeting and she would call back, but I just talked to Kayla 30 minutes prior, and was expressing myself about how the client was being treated and we needed to talk to the lawyer, and Kayla turned nasty and said im not the client I cant to the attorney and I can't talk to them like that and I stated the client gave me permission to handle anything so I had the right to talk to the attorney. But no matter how many times the client calls they won't answer or they just give me runaround games. These people do not care about you or your family and they won't make you feel like your in good hands. No communication and they dont meet with clients or people allowed. To discuss options. They dont know any case laws to fight for your freedom and it's the last minutes they show up or handle the court. I plan on sueing them for the client because I believe the services from beginnings till now has proven we can win the malpractice of attorney.
