It mean that a grand jury decided to indict him. The outcome depends upon who he hires to represent him, and, the jury at trial, if he goes to trial.

Yes, you should go to the hearing. It sometimes takes a while for the paperwork to get to the clerk on a DWLS, and you will need an attorney for that.
