Lance Anthony Ragland

          Lance A. Ragland is a sole practitioner focusing his practice in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estates/Probate, counseling clients on estate planning matters and representing clients with regard to probate and trust administration.

          Lance is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and is also a member of the Orange and Seminole County Bar Associations. He served as Co-Chair of the Estate, Guardianship & Trust Committee of the Orange County Bar Association (2005-2006), and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Winter Park Public Library (2007-2010). He is a co-founder and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of , Inc., a non profit organization dedicated to providing funding for disadvantaged children to participate in local sports leagues. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors and as the Chairman of the Service Projects Committee of the Oviedo Rotary Club.

          Lance has lived in Central Florida since the age of 7 and is a graduate of Lake Howell High School (1988). He attended both the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 1993. He obtained his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1997 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.

          Lance worked as a compliance officer for INVEST Financial Corporation, a national securities broker dealer, from 1997-1998, where he also obtained a Series 7, General Securities Representative license. From 1999-2001, he worked as a wills, trusts and estates associate attorney before opening his own law office, Lance A. Ragland, P.A., in 2001, continuing his practice in those areas. In 2003, he joined the law firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A., where he remained through March, 2015. In April of 2015, Lance opened his current law firm, Lance A. Ragland, P.A., where he currently continues his legal practice.
