I strongly agree with all of the previous reviews! First of all I cannot express how important it is to research an Attorney's background and consult with, before hiring!!! Unfortunately during my year and a half long divorce I was forced to seek out another Attorney (Daniel) due to my previous Attor...ney's lack of interest and or effort. After wasting thousands of dollars and months of time on an uninterested Attorney, I hired Mr. Elkins. This seemed to be a somewhat simple divorce case (No children) etc. but soon turned into a contested nightmare. Mr. Elkins not only went above and beyond with every aspect of the divorce process but actually cares. This is not my first divorce and or lawsuit. I've had quite a few Attorney's over the years. Although Mr. Elkins is young, he is by far THE BEST Attorney I have ever had, PERIOD! As emotions run high during a lawsuit, Mr. Elkins is able to keep expectations in check, calmly explain the facts, and more importantly, respond in a timely manner! If you are sick of being given the runaround, and or overcharged by your Attorney, or are seeking a reputable Attorney, please call Mr. Elkins!!!!!

I reached out to Daniel after years of credit card debt. It finally got to the point that I was barely staying afloat and I would say 80% of my income was going to minimum payments. I was depressed and embarrassed. My father and I found Daniel and contacted him. He met us on time at our first mee...ting and explained both the ch. 13 and ch. 7 options. He was upfront about all fees associated with this process and after doing some research found the prices to even be less than most other local lawyers or big firms. My dad thought the process would take a month from start to finish. It actually took more like five due to Daniel having to redo paperwork a bunch of times based on changes to my income and personal life. We never were hit with a fee even though Daniel had to go back and do the same work five or six times. He responded to all my emails the same day and was completely honest about everything that would happen. He was prompt and professional on our court date. Mr. Elkins handled our bankruptcy and did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable and very patient, answering all of our questions many, many times. I had hired the Law firm of Elkins and Freedman two years ago to represent me in a divorce case. I met Daniel right out of college who at the time was starting out with his father Alan. Of course like many people I was a little worried that Daniel being a new lawyer would be a little too new. But ...Daniel was the one of the nicest, caring, and considerate lawyers I have ever met. He was always available and would return calls or contact me when necessary even if was late in the evening. He was hard working and a credit to his profession. My ex-wife had even said that Daniel was very helpful and kind to her in our divorce proceedings.
