I am proudly a University of Florida alumnus where I received both my degrees. In May of 1999, I received my Bachelor of Arts in History, with Honors, with a Minor in Secondary Education. In May of 2002, I then received my Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
During my law school years, I interned, and later was employed, as a Federal Law Clerk to the Honorable William Wagner for the Northern District of Florida in Gainesville. I also served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinic at the University of Florida Levin College of Law where I assisted and advised indigent clients on their family law cases. In recognition of my efforts and dedication to the clients of the Civil Clinic I received the prestigious Book Award for the Clinic. During law school, I was President of the Spanish American Law Student Association (SALSA), a member of the Law College Council and a College of Law Ambassador.
After leaving my employment as a Federal Law Clerk in October of 2002, I was appointed as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida's Fifth Judicial Circuit in Ocala where I received invaluable experience in criminal law. During my employment there, I prosecuted criminal cases in the Felony, Juvenile, and Misdemeanor Divisions. I prosecuted crimes, such as Assaults, Batteries, DUIs, Domestic Violence Cases, Drug Offenses, Sex Offenses, Thefts and Traffic Offenses.
While an Assistant State Attorney, I taught legal aspects as it pertained to correctional officers and police cadets for the Central Florida Community College's Criminal Justice Institute. I also teach Student Resource Officers the law for the Attorney General's Office's Florida Crime Prevention Institute.
In December of 2007, I decided to open my own law practice to serve the needs of the citizens of North Central Florida in matters of Criminal Defense, Family Law and General Civil Law matters.

He is worse than a public defender
He's no good for nothing. He never litigate. He never answers the phone. He was worse than a public defender. He can lie to you right in front of your face. He avoids you.
