Meadors Family Law, LLC is a small, but very caring and professional family law firm. Comprised of two experienced attorneys, Michael Meadors and Amy Krause, Meadors Family Law has successfully been in business for the past fifteen years. Both attorneys work together on your case, providing many years of experience to help you solve your family law issues.
We handle divorces, child custody, child support, dependency, modifications, domestic violence and other similar cases. Children are of particular interest and concern for our firm.
Most of our clients come to us by referral of past clients. However, we even get referrals from opposing parties who tell their friends that we are an honest, hard-working, and effective law firm. We offer a very personal approach to helping you with your case.
Prospective clients can receive a free consultation. Our fees are reasonable and moderately priced. Much of our clientele are hard working folks who find they need representation, but may not have the resources for a large initial deposit. Consequently, we are happy to work out payment plans with our clients so that they can afford legal representation without breaking their monthly budget.
Michael Meadors was a former teacher for over twenty years prior to becoming an attorney. He is married and has three children. Mike was also an adjunct professor of law at UF Levin College of Law, served as Chair of Florida Bar Association, Local Chapter, and is on the UF Children and Family Committee.
Amy Krause attended the UF Levin College of Law, is married, and has one child.
Together, Mike and Amy have represented hundreds of clients throughout the years from a number of counties in and out of Alachua County, Florida. We look forward to helping you solve your family law issues.
