I retained Steve to represent me in my divorce proceedings with many recommendations from friends and other attorneys. I was not disappointed. He provided sound guidance and excellent representation to me through the worst time in my life. He and his staff are top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to r...ecommend them to anyone. I hope to never require his services again but I am happy to know he's here just in case. Also, he happens to be a very down to earth, nice guy which I found was refreshing and comforting. The paralegals in his office (Brooke and Brea) were great through the entire process. They maintained contact with me, kept me updated on proceedings and made sure that everything stayed on track. They were always friendly, professional and provided excellent advice. I can't say enough good things about all of them.

I hired Mr. Gilpatrick to handle my Divorce and I was very pleased with the service, attention, and detail billing provided by Mr Gilpatrick and his team. His legal help (Brooke) was very helpful and professional in assisting me or answering my questions. I was kept informed and was never pressured... to go one way or the other. I am retired military and currently working for the Government as a civilian and Mr. Gilpatrick understood all of the typical requirements related to dividing up property/retirement savings/pay earned both in the military and as a civil servant. I was in the midst of a rocky separation from my wife; blindsided seemingly at every corner. With the addition of child and military ties, things complication became the theme of this chapter in my life. During my first encounter with Mr. Gilpatrick, I felt like an idiot after verbalizing my predic...ament. He took what my concerns and inquiries to heart, and helped me to find a voice in the midst of my personal turmoil. I honestly felt he understood and shared my concern (which was the wellbeing of my child), and made that his focus. He took time to help me carve a path in this complicated valley I found myself in; and, with the nicest, well-informed staff, helped get me to a place of calmness. They kept me informed at every end; whether it be email or phone call (from either Mr. Gilpatrick or his staff members). They followed up with me immediately with changes, updates, and options. They appropriately informed me of all of my options (instead of pushing me in a direction that best suits them). They answered all my (random) questions, and got back with me within a reasonable time to verify a response. At the end of it all, I am very satisfied with the outcome of my involvement with the group at this law office, I can't say enough about how professional and personable they are, and could never do enough to adequately thank them for their great service.

I will start by saying Florida Divorce is a broken system and awards dependapottamus type behavior. So be prepared for it. Steve and his staff were very good. They were very polite and answered all my questions. They never sugar coated or promised unrealistic things. They told me how it is and what ...i stand lose and advised me on the best course of action. He advised me on settling instead of going through the ringer and standing to possibly lose more or to be put in a worse situation. His honest advise lost him money considering he didnt get paid extra to go to court. Good work isnt cheap! The staff outlined and explained where all my money was being spent. I felt I was fairly charged. All and all I was very happy.

Steve was very knowledgeable and has extensive experience as a family law attorney. His staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt that he was conscientious about saving me money throughout the divorce and not trying to milk me for all I had. I think he is honest (sometimes painfully so!) and ...has integrity.
