Jasmine Victoria Robinson

This atty was assigned as the Public Defender for my adult child's Battery charge and really dropped the ball. She only spoke to my child after my child reached out to the Public Defender's office to find out who was assigned to her case. She was unable to answer any questions saying she didn't know ...why or what was going on. Said she would get answers and information then visit my child in jail to explain in a few days. At this point my child had been in jail almost 2 months. Ms. Robinson never showed up at jail and never contacted my child again even after several messages to her from my child and I called her 3 times and she never returned any of my calls either. She literally did nothing. I spoke to her at court in regards to everything I just wrote and she just stared at me and never responded with an answer. After waiting for her to respond she finally said "I will pass a note to your child to approve me speaking to you regarding the case" which she did not do. At the very least she could have followed up with my incarcerated child AND returned my calls to explain she needed my child's permission to speak to me. So we now owe her approx. $110.00 for "representing" my child as a Defense Attorney. Unacceptable behavior and a very poor reflection of her ability to represent a client.
