Richard Houston Powell

I contacted Mr. Powell's office to get guidance on how to be in the best position to acquire a foreclosed home. He personally met with me and my real estate agent and was very clear but thorough on what our next step should be. I don't plan on using any other counsel then Mr. Powell's office when n...eeding real estate advice.

Mr. Powell was recommended to me by another lawyer from Pensacola. After contacting Mr. Powell he accepted my case which was complicated and my only true option was to file corporate bankruptcy. It was a very involved case and took hours of research and filing documents. Mr. Powell's assistance were ...helpful to organize and prepare for the hearing. At this point everything is going OK and Mr. Powell handled a few issues that arose in my case appropriately. Considering all that has taken place in my case I do not feel his cost were high nor has his firm charged me extra for case issues that have arose down the line. I would have to give Mr. Powell and his firm high marks for there work.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM FOR FAMILY LAW. They are incompetent and lacks knowledge and experience in family law. During mediation I learn more from mediator in 2 hours than from Mr. Powell and Mr. White in 6 month. They initially stated that a contested divorce will cost 3500, already paid more than 7,00...0 in a simple case. I believe they were looking to get paid and just fly by with minimum work. They will have both lawyers on preceedings so they can charge full rate when the job of the other attourney is to carry the papers for Mr. Powell.
