I was living all the way down the Florida keys when my son was sent to prison. My sister told me how great Joel was with her son so I calls him. Within one month, Joel put in the required legal work in Santa Rosa county (Milton) and found my son was illegally sentenced. A month later my son was in th...e keys with his family and no longer at Brevard correctional facility (prison). I think the world of this attorney. His public defender Mr. Tony Henderson didn't even recognize this huge error!!! I mould recommend Mr. Cohen to anyone!

He doesn't know anything about Family law and simply made my case feel like it was about money and that was all. Never finished final paperwork and my case after 2 years is still pending. Does not return emails or phone calls. Pretends to be a man of God while you are in the office and quickly tur...ns into another person outside of his office. Makes promises about what he is going to do then doesn't do anything like what he said. I have worked with other Attorneys and unfortunately they have moved on to other forms of law but they never treated me like Mr. Cohen did!
