Building good client relationships to deliver my clients good results.
I'm a Pensacola native, played football at Tate High School and recieved my undergraduate degree from Florida State University. After graduating Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010, I worked as in Assistant Public Defender in one of Florida's best Public Defender's Offices in the Tampa Bay area. While working as a Public Defender I represented hundreds if not thousands of people charged with just about every crime imaginable. I received extensive training and mentoring and spent countless hours in the courtroom. I've tried approximately fifty cases before both judges and juries and have reached some very favorable outcomes for my clients.
In 2015 I moved back home to start my own private practice and it has been growing ever since. Since opening, I've been able to help quite a few of my neighbors through some difficult times. My favorite part of being a lawyer is building a good relationship with my clients so that I'm invested in them when I get to deliver good results.
I run a small practice - when you call me, odds are you'll end up speaking with me, not an army of secretaries and paralegals. If you hire me, you'll be given my cellphone number to call in case of an emergency. And when you go to court, I'll be there with you, not some new hire associate fresh out of law school. Because building relationships and delivering results is what I do.

Money Well Spent
A few months ago I was in an accident and received a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign. The accident happened at night in a construction area, and the sign was 30 feet from the edge of the road at an odd angle, which resulted in the sign not reflecting in the headlights. In addition, the en...

Great Lawyer
I live out of state and the charge came out of no where. I talked to him about this case. He looked at the case and walked me through the process. He kept it real with me about the expectations. He kept me in the loop the whole time and was a great lawyer. I would hire him again.

WASTE OF MONEY!!!
My husband was arrested, and was appointed a public defender. I was scared they wouldn't do much for him, so I found a way to pay the $2500.00, and hired Mr. Wise. Mr. Wise was very good with comforting words, and empty promises, regarding what all he could do for my husband. Once he was paid, ...
This individual was one of the listed victims in a very serious 2nd degree felony case (15 year maximum sentence) in which my client was facing a minimum mandatory sentence of 3 years state prison. Thankfully the State agreed to drop/reduce charges because this individual and the other listed victims did not wish to prosecute (which became obvious to them only because I aggressively pushed this to the verge of trial), and we were able to have him released from jail during his first court cycle. The criminal justice system is not fun, and this individual nor my client (thankfully) had much prior experience in navigating it. It is often not a constantly moving process - it goes in cycles such as the initial client meeting, receiving police reports, reviewing the evidence while awaiting for a court date, etc. And once a court date is set, typically I cannot move it up any sooner or do anything to "fix" everything until we get to court. As many times as I tried to explain this, this individual expected daily case status updates when nothing new had taken place. I certainly understand their frustration, but I think it is misplaced. Finally, as to the fee - $2,500 certainly isn't spare change, but is also extremely low in this area for a 2nd degree felony. I offered a heavily discounted rate due to the understanding the victims did not wish to prosecute and the case would therefore likely resolve rather quickly, as well as for my sympathy for the bad situation they were in. Go figure.

Avoid using Gregory Wise
I deposited a $1,000 retainer for Mr. Wise to perform an eviction because I live in another state and couldn't deal with the problem renter and her attorney uncle myself. Mr. Wise didn't post the eviction notice in time for two consecutive months and never responded to the renter's attorney. The ren...
"I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Wise as an Assistant Public Defender in Clearwater. Mr. Wise is a tremendous advocate for his clients and always willing to go the extra mile. I would recommend Mr. Wise to any of my friends and family without hesitation."
"I have known Mr. Wise for over a decade, having the opportunity to watch him complete law school and grow into a top-notch defense attorney. He is knowledgeable, creative, and will fight for your cause with everything he has. His experience provides him with the tools needed in order to vigorously fight for your cause - and he WILL fight."
"Gregory M. Wise is THE attorney you want handling your case. I had the privilege of working side-by-side Mr. Wise in Pinellas County, and the way he practiced Criminal Law was a sight to see. He was always prepared, and the prosecutors quickly learned that he would never back down when it came to litigation - be it a motion, hearing, or trial. Because of this reputation for doggedly pursuing his clients' best-interests and fighting for their rights, he was able to get offers to resolve cases (without trial) that were extremely beneficial to the client. This was especially true for DUI / BUI cases, where the prosecutors were so scared of him that they offered to reduce the charges from 1st Degree Misdemeanors (punishable by 6 months to 1 year in jail as well as numerous driving-related probationary conditions) to mere Traffic Infractions such as "Careless Driving." In short, Mr. Wise's experience in the courtroom makes him the attorney you want on your case - no matter what type."
