Worst attorney in State of Florida. No, he does NOT return calls, and messages go unanswered too. Office staff completely lost at legal matters--except his Wife who generally thinks of herself as the Attorney when you do get handed off to speak with someone. They are a Joke. Took his office over 2....5 yrs to settle my my case. I'd often call the Workers Comp office only to be told JJ Talbott has yet to respond --8-9 months at a time, they too had problems with his lack of legal professionalism. Stopped by his office several times only to wait in lobby for hrs until his wife would come in and rudely inform me I didn't have an appointment. I finally threatened to file a complaint with Bar Association and he settled my case within two weeks. Paralegal called to say I'd get a ck in mail. Not one ounce of Professional ethics for this bunch. Zero. It was also settled far below even out of pocket on my part, without first consulting with me, the client. Don't waste your time with this guy.

JJ IS NOT YOUR LAWYER!!!!!! Heads up.... HORRIBLE! We hired JJ when my daughter had a wreck that totaled her car (and she was taken by ambulance) and incurred medical bills. JJ took 20 months, yes 20 months to settle the case! Dealt with 4 different paralegals. Horrible follow-up and to top it... all off, JJ walked away with more money in the settlement than my daughter did! JJ is very unprofessional and I would definitely NOT recommend him for you or any member of your family.

I went to see J.J. about an injury I sustained at a house that a friend was renting. The injury was to my head and required an immediate trip to the ER. JJ agreed to take the case and I complied with the request from him to email the pics immediately after the event, the paperwork from Baptist Hos...pital, and subsequent necessary medical care. I sent this to him and the paralegal or assistant as directed. I received only 3 communications from his office. I left voicemail messages, numerous e-mails, and left messages with a receptionist over the course of one year. It was ridiculous, unprofessional at best. I found him remiss in his duties as a member if the legal profession. After about 11 months I received an appalling terse letter signed by him apprising me he could not "take my case"! No explanation was offered and by the time I received the letter I was so disgusted with the level of disrespect, ineptitude of him and his staff I did not waste any more of my time by asking "why". I do not recommend this firm. I should have gone to the Florida Bar Association to lodge a formal complaint.

In a nut shell, Atty Talbott took care of everything in my case, he truly was my representative, he spoke for me and advised me on legal issues that was in my favor during my case. I never had to worry about calling his office and not being able to speak to him directly, once I called, I was passed ...on directly to his line and got updates immediately. His Staff is friendly and they make you feel at ease as you walk in, and the best part is... They know you by name and not by case number. I have recommended friends, and co-workers to Atty Talbott for his professionalism and his personal attention to details in a case. I will recommend him to everyone who needs the help.
