A man of his word

I had to help my elderly sister-in-law to remove her step daughter out of her home. I live in Georgia and my sister-in-law (has physical handicap issues) lived in Pensacola, Florida. The step daughter put my sister-in-laws clothes on the street believing the home was given to her after the death of m...y sister-in-laws husband and father to the daughter. I asked a friend in Pensacola to suggest someone site unseen dealing with all the legal matters to resolve this issue. Tim was contacted and every option was reviewed over the phone. Tim told me exactly what the cost would be as well as outlining the legal red tape we had before us. Once I handed Tim and his team the ball he worked every issue and all I had to do was to wait and watch him do his magic. Besides being informed often, He managed each step of the problem until it was totally solved, on budget. Tim never made us feel like a number and a bother, he was always gracious and professional. Tim is a great attorney, as well as professional from start to end. A man of his word and never waited to respond to every question or concern. Use him and your life will be easy no matter how difficult your problem might be.

The Most Approachable and Reasonable I’ve Dealth With

Tim Baldwin not only knows the law at a higher than average level, he communicates better and educates his clients better than any attorney I’ve ever interacted with; being in real estate, I’ve dealt with a handful. Tim brings so much more value than he takes in payment. Because of that, Tim is n...ow our company’s go-to Attorney on retainer and we are confident we have the best around!

Tim Baldwin goes above and beyond he is not your average attorney they don't come any better

In 2016 I was assaulted and my children's lives were threatened. I defended myself only to be charged with a crime I did not commit, due to relations in the Sheriff's Office. I searched and searched the internet never having legal issues before it was all new and scary to me. When I found Tim Baldwin... I knew immediately that he was the attorney for me. And I was right, no attorney has ever fought so hard for someone, as Tim fought for me and my family. He had the knowledge the passion and the guts to go places others would not go and fight for my rights. He wasn't afraid to push buttons and make people mad he wasn't afraid to fight for what was right no matter the consequences he was willing to go all the way. He spent endless hours, stayed up numerous nights working on my case. Fighting the obvious Injustice of my charges. He was able to get a crooked prosecutor removed from my case, so that way I could have more of a fair trial. In the end he began only charging me actual expenses he believed so much in my case and knew that I was innocent and the victim that he did everything in his power to clear my name and to get me through the worst year of my life. I firmly believe there is no better attorney than Timothy Baldwin. He is not just another lawyer in a suit he is the real deal he has a real passion and he really cares about his clients. I owe more than I could ever repay to all that Tim has done for my family. I will be forever grateful for everything he has done for me.

RUN AWAY!

Please do not hire this man for anything! He took me for almost $14,000. He will not tell you the truth and is very lazy in his practice. He filled paperwork late and never informed his client on doing so. He will over charge and make up hours to justify his bill! He is unethical and will take advan...tage of you while defending his actions. Please hear me this man not only damaged me financially but also damaged the case I hired him to handle. Sadly the man does not even care.

Steve was not my client. His dad, Mike, was. It is my understanding that Steve helped Mike pay for legal fees and costs. To date, Mike has never made one negative remark about my services for him. Mike and I had a great relationship and good communications. The case Mike hired the law firm I worked for was a declaratory judgment action, which is a case involving a legal issue only. Mike's case involved a very unique legal issue in Montana regarding whether the State can require an applicant to give his social security number (SSN) to renew his driver's license when the applicant has a religious belief that the Bible prohibits that. Mike did not want to have to give his SSN to obtain a DL, so I litigated the issue for him in District Court in Montana. Litigating this one issue took over a year to get a final order from the court. There were no other cases on record like this one in Montana, and it involved a lot of novel issues and arguments. The Court ruled on all issues raised by the parties. There was not an issue left unturned or undecided in that case. Unfortunately, the court ruled against us, ruling that Mike was required to give his SSN to obtain a driver's license. The Court's order was many pages in length to explain the law and address all of the arguments raised by the parties as the facts were revealed in discovery. Steve was given all of the court filings in this case, including the ones I prepared. Steve was very complimentary of my work even a year into this case. He emailed me and told me on the phone that I had done outstanding legal work on the issues in this case. Steve did have one request: he wanted me to communicate with my client less because he believed it stressed Mike out. I explained to him that Mike is my client, and I must communicate with him effectively. Steve also complained that I had not kept him informed in the case, Steve was not the client, but I gave him all of the updates he needed to know what was going on in the case. During this time, I was an employee with a law firm in Montana. I received a salary, and was not responsible for billing clients or receiving monies directly from any billing done. I did my job, and I recorded my time for the job I did. The amount of filings and discovery that had to be done in this case was extensive and took over a year. Steve said the law firm billed $14,000. If that's true, I am surprised it was not more, given the amount of work done. Anyone who has been in lengthy litigation knows how expensive it can get. At the end of the case, Steve was upset that the court ruled against us, and he then began making complaints that I did not represent Mike effectively. This was well over a year after the law firm was hired to represent Mike. Steve sent the law firm a list of questions about what I did in this case and made accusations that it was my work that caused Mike to lose. The law firm forwarded me Steve's letter. I took the time to write a very lengthy response to each and every question and allegation Steve made. In that response, I explained to Steve--even though I didn't have to as he was not the law firm's client--how the case was handled and why he was incorrect in his bald allegations. I did not hear anything further about this matter. It is unfortunate that Steve is continuing to try and ruin my good reputation and undermine my law practice. I have represented many hundreds of clients in my career since 2004. I have always put my client's first and tried my best to get the best results possible. I did that for Mike. But I have learned that you cannot please everyone, despite my best efforts. Though the court ruled against us in Mike's case, I can look at myself in the mirror and honestly say that I did my best for Mike. I wish Mike and Steve the best in the future.
