Hi, my name is Ashley. I want to first start by stating that I am not some robot off of the internet or paid to say any of which I am about to say. I am a real person. I was very shocked to see that Patrick Jennings had no reviews yet. So I will gladly be his first! As all of us know times are hard i...n today's society, especially when it comes to money. I am a single mother and just didn't have the money to hire a lawyer. So I ended up being appointed one in court- Mr. Jennings. Now in the past our family has always hired high dollar attorneys but as I just noted, we just did not have it. With that said, I just knew that this was gonna suck. I would never hear from him, he would never return my calls, he would have no idea of who I even was when it came down to all the court days, and I would indefinite loose, and my voice would not be heard. Why because he was just "an appointed attorney not personally getting paid by me". Boy was I wrong! He was funny, he made me feel like I was his only client. He always returned my calls - and yes I drove him crazy- there really just is not any words to explain this guy, especially considering he was only one year fresh out of law school folks! Ultimately he fought hard and was not scared to show what he was made of. I was looking at time for something I was not involved with. After a couple months battle the state of Florida gave in to his fight and dismissed my case completely. Gone. Let me just say this. About four years ago we hired an attorney for a very very minor thing. It was still criminal, so I needed an attorney. What better attorney to hire then one that just retired from being a very well respected judge, and now, an attorney? Um? yes please! I'll take him. 9,000 down the drain, ended up with numerous punishments simply because he never even showed up to the court dates 70% of the time so someone that did not kbowcme or the case just had to jump in and speak on his behalf. So point being, don't choose an attorney that is so well known that it's already gotten in their head that they are God. Now, I would go with an appointed attorney fresh out of school before I would give a Penny to a former judge whom is now an attorney. He would be a great one with the knowledge he has, but those kind will not use their knowledge. They will use your money. Bottom line, I promise, you can not go wrong with Patrick Jennings. He cares, and you will get thru whatever it is...but together. You will never walk alone or feel alone. Best Wishes! Ashley B.
