Attentive and Caring

Throughout the process of my bankruptcy case, Mr. Lewis was very responsive and caring. He led me through the process without ever making me feel rushed or insignificant. In fact, Mr. Lewis did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable, that all of my questions were answered, and that I wa...s well aware of what I needed to do and the next steps. His office was responsive when I needed to follow-up with additional documents or had questions. Mr. Lewis was very professional without being "cold" and uncaring. I always felt at ease when talking with him and going over my case.

Chapter 13 bankruptcy lawyer | Feb 03

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. Martin is easy to work with, is knowledgeable about bankruptcy law, and tells his clients what they need to know as opposed to what they want to hear. As opposing counsel, he is always responsive, well prepared, and willing to negotiate, but still an advocate for his client."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
