I was incarcerated and had been on probation prior to this incarceration when Mr. Ackerman was still a judge and had placed me on misdemeanor probation. This time I was facing federal charges and I asked my father to speak with Mr. Ackerman regarding my case. Being from New York we had some common g...round and he was so kind and helpful to my dad regardingy case even though it wasn't necessary to hire him based on his advice. My father Robert Militello really enjoyed the time spent speaking with Mr. Ackerman and gave him a book about New York as a gesture of gratitude and friendship.
