Worst lawyer

Unprofessional worst lawyer. We paid $1000 upfront for her to file our custody papers. But she didn’t. The reason is she forgot. We’ve called tens of times and left her several messages (also through a friend of hers who’s also a friend of ours) but she never got back to us.

Family Law matter (1.5 year case)

First I must mention that I am a father in Florida with 2 children who petitioned the court for custody from an unwed mother. That pretext alone in the state of Florida is normally open and shut and usually a win for the mother. I have to say that I was scared, worried, full of fear all due to the... fact I didn't know the law. After 1 month of working with Alia Adhal and her paralegals it became very clear that I was working with knowledgeable and experienced individuals. While my paperwork did take close to 2 -3 weeks to get the initial petition complete it was not filed in haste nor was it filed incomplete with errors which would have cost me money and time. Once this was done and papers were filed it was the courts time to do their thing. With all family matters involving courts there is always a turn around that can seem like forever. While I was constantly in this mode I was always able to get Alia or her paralegals to talk to me in depth over the phone or in person about the strategy planning and actions that I should or shouldn't take during the pre-trial that if I had not gotten this advice I could have easily made some very costly mistakes. I was empowered with knowledge of all possibilities and outcomes and we were prepared to deal with them as they came. Alia Adhal was very insightful, very methodical, and very calculated attorney. In comparison to other attorney's what I saw was compelling and detailed work with her submissions to the court that blew the other attorney's work out of the water. What I came to realize was that Alia Adhal was not only on my side as my attorney but was so full of understanding in my case that she was the embodiment of a true advocate of her client. Over the hearings we had in the judges chambers I watched a genius chess player vs. a loud mouthed Rottweiler. Alia Adhal had everything ready to systematically take down her opponent and stay tactful in the eyes of the judge. While courtroom presence is important, I watched while Alia Adhal was so professional and so full of integrity that any judge we had was in full belief without question. Alia never lost the Judge's engagement and was always recalculating her moves to keep interest. I've never had any attorney nor heard of any attorney that I could call a friend after a case was completed. I can say that Alia is not only my advocate in court but also a friend. I won my case I got my children from an unwed mother in the state of Florida. I can say that even if I lost that the work Alia put into my case wouldn't have been the reason because her and her crew worked their butts off for me and my children. As a single father I cannot thank her enough for the work she did and I probably never will be able to fully. I can only hold Alia Adhal and her office in highest regards.
